Ubisoft Philippines Invites Gaming Communities To New Office In BGC: “Laro Tayo?”

Partager:

Taguig, June 21, 2024 — our team celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new office space in The Finance Center, BGC. We welcomed industry professionals, media representatives, and gaming content creators, focusing on celebrating the timelessness of games, with the theme “Laro Tayo?” (loosely translated to “let’s play?”) with them.

Moreover, in true FIilipino fashion, we had free-flowing food, serving Kakanin (sweets made of glutinous rice and coconut milk), Taho (sweet tofu dessert), ice cream, and more.

Highlights of the event included speeches from key company leaders, interactive studio tours, exclusive production showcase, and a variety of engaging activities around the studio designed to celebrate the spirit of gaming. JP Tan, Studio Art Director, also shares the team’s inspiration for the new office space. “We always say our ‘workplace is our playground.’ When we were designing our space, we wanted it to reflect our dedication to providing our team with an inspiring environment to create memorable gaming experiences.”

Attendees had the opportunity to explore the new office, including their production floor through guided tours, gaining insight into the innovative workspaces where actual AAA game development happens.

Our devs featured their work in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, Skull & Bones, and Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. Additionally, guests enjoyed a range of activities, from game stations, and a live band playing video game music, all while savoring classic Filipino snacks and refreshments.
