Diversity and Inclusion

At Ubisoft, we believe that by fostering a work environment where everyone can be their authentic selves and by telling stories that reflect the diversity of our players, we can help build a more inclusive industry. Our ambition is to be an attractive workplace for talent from all backgrounds.

Here are some of our initiatives:

• Training on unconscious bias, managing neurodiverse talent...
• Coaching sessions for members of the Women in Games and Afrogameuses associations
• Studio tours for our partners Fusion Jeunesse, Télémaque, and Elles Bougent to showcase our professions
• Participation in the Develop at Ubisoft mentorship program
• Creation of a Diversity and Inclusion Committee in 2021 to support the studio on D&I topics and organize awareness activities (Black History Month, Pride Month...)
• Support for our international members, who represent about 10% of the studio, with French language classes and the creation of an international club to encourage interaction among studio members.

Philanthropy and Education

Ubisoft is committed to creating lasting ties with the local communities in which we operate. We contribute by creating local economic and employment opportunities and by engaging in causes related to our team's expertise and the video game industry.

Here are some examples of our initiatives:

• Highlighting career paths through the START event
• Studio tours, mentorship and tutoring initiatives with Fusion Jeunesse, Télémaque, and Elles Bougent
• Setting up and animating a playroom within the pediatric department of the Bordeaux University Hospital
• Rounding up our salaries to donate to a selection of partner charities
• 3 days of volunteering per year to support the charities of your choice.

Environment and Sustainability

At Ubisoft, we are committed to actively contributing to global carbon neutrality. In 2020, we launched a program called Play Green to focus on two key priorities:

1. Reducing the company's carbon footprint
2. Inspiring our teams, partners, and communities to take sustainable actions for the planet

Locally, we do our best to change our behaviors a little more each day by implementing energy-saving measures, encouraging sustainable mobility, supporting local partnerships and suppliers, and raising awareness among our teams. Through our Green Club, composed of volunteer employees, we organize various activities throughout the year to help protect our local ecosystem (tree planting, beach clean-ups, Climate Collage workshops).
