Hybrid work model : 3 days from office, 2 days from home

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create concept arts that will be used as reference for the production of new in-game 3D content (3D characters, items, environment scenes, missions mood & atmosphere…) with top notch quality
- Create a variety of 2D assets (illustrations/artworks, icons, miniatures) that will be used in-game (for seasons and battle pass key arts, UI dress-up, icons/miniatures for in-game items, visuals for monetization offers, etc), and collaborate with marketing team to create promotional assets
- Ensure that assets quality standards are met, ensure their consistency with preexisting content and predefined standards, and coordinate design criteria with other cells
- Collaborate with other dev team cells (content, system, UX/UI) to ensure optimal communication of design info and achieve the results expected by the game Directors
- Set and share best practices in your area of expertise for design, creation, documentation, workflows, methodologies and tooling, striving to optimize assets quality, footprint, technical performance, and overall pipelines
QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent in English
- If you have significant experience as concept artist, particularly for weapon and military settings.
- Strong graphic design background and artistic skills, with a superior eye for composition, colour theory, artistic sensitivity.
- Comfortable with a wide range of diverse artistic universes and styles, from photorealism to cartoon and stylized – but with a focus and preference for realistic and grounded styles
- Extensive knowledge with 2D graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, etc).
- Significant experience working in a video game development team as a concept artist or 2D artist, ideally working on games with realistic and grounded styles, ideally in a modern militaristic setting
- Knowledge of the universe of The Division IP (its world, stories, characters, key mechanics and game systems, etc), and a passion for believable game world grounded in reality, is a plus
- Knowledge of 3D graphics creation tools and techniques (modelling, texturing, animation, Maya, Blender, 3Dsmax, Zbrush, Substance Painter …), and of real-time game engines is a strong plus
- Knowledge of 3D pipelines on AAA games and of the technical constraints relating to real-time, the 3D engines, and level editors, is a plus
- You are creative, flexible and open to feedback and iterations, and a good team player
- Attention to detail, meticulous and organized working habits to ensure high quality in day-to-day work
- Experience with Unreal Engine is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of mobile platform development is a plus.
- Passionate about playing and making games
- In-depth knowledge of the game industry, notably of the top RPG games in the F2P & GaaS genre
- Strong understanding of the full development cycle of a game and a strong understanding of all its stages, from the conception to live phase
