How does the recruitment process work?

Once you’ve submitted your application, a Ubisoft recruiter will review your CV. If you pass the initial screening, they will guide you through your next steps. This usually includes a phone screening with the recruiter, a test or assessment, and an interview with the hiring manager. We review every application in depth to make sure that you’re a good fit for the role and team you’re applying to work in; we may also redirect you to another role where your skills may be a better fit.

How long does the recruitment process usually take?

It can vary depending on the position. Our aim is to complete the recruitment process as efficiently as possible, whilst ensuring that we assess fully your skills and experience.

I possess all the skills required. Why didn’t you call me back?

Whilst we understand that it can be disappointing to receive a rejection to your application, due to the high volume of applicants, we are only able to provide feedback to those applicants who progress in the interview process. We review every application in depth to make sure that you’re a good fit for the role and team you’re applying to work in, so don’t hesitate to apply for another role.

I am not familiar with the video game industry. Would I fit into Ubisoft?

At Ubisoft, everyone is welcome! We know that by bringing together different perspectives and experiences, we create a more inclusive environment for our team members. You’ll get the chance to work with teams and projects that inspire and challenge you every single day.

Once the job offer is opened, there is no deadline. The sooner you apply, the better your chances are to be contacted by our recruiters!

What are you looking for in student applications?

First, carefully read the job description in order to highlight relevant experiences and skills. A personalized and well-detailed resume will undoubtedly allow you to stand out. 😉

Cover letter or no cover letter? We will always prefer a few lines explaining your interest in the internship/apprenticeship, to a long generic copy/paste! An insert is specifically provided for this purpose when you apply.

All information related to our Graduate program can be found in the “Interns & Graduates” tab by selecting the “I am a graduate/have graduated” option.

What is the remote work policy at Ubisoft?

At Ubisoft, we believe our best work happens when we build strong working relationships with each other. For this reason, we embrace a hybrid work model, blending in-person and work from home. There are some roles that are fully office-based and are not eligible for hybrid work. When exploring available positions, use the "work flexibility' filter in our Job Search tool to select hybrid or office-based roles.

How do I know if a Ubisoft email/offer is legit?

We were sorry to hear of some instances whereby scammers contacted candidates on Ubisoft’s “behalf” to gather personal data and/or money. We take this matter very seriously: not only do these actions put you at risk, they also jeopardize Ubisoft’s image.

Below is a list of things that Ubisoft, as a company, will never ask you for during your hiring process: • Any form of monetary exchange at any point; • Any form of personal data before the offer stage such as: o Your password; o Your credit Card or banking details; o Your social security or tax information number. • Downloading any form of document, zip file, etc. from our emails.

To ensure a safe hiring process, you will find below a few tips on how to identify a recruitment fraud: • Take the time to analyze a job posting before applying; • Spot the bad grammar and spelling mistakes; • Double-check email addresses (all our employee email addresses finish in @ubisoft.com), links & domain names to make sure there are no inconsistencies, and make sure there are no discrepancies in the greetings or salutations; • Stay suspicious of attachments: the only attachments sent by our teams during the hiring process are documents relevant to case studies; • Flag any email you receive from “Ubisoft” requesting login credentials, payment information or sensitive data.
