JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Data Director, you will play a critical role in guiding strategic decision-making by providing insights from data. You’ll oversee a team of Data Analysts, Engineers and Scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve game development, player engagement, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Data Strategy: Develop and implement data analysis strategies to support game development and business operations.
- Analytics and Reporting: Design and deliver insightful dashboards, reports, and presentations for various stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decision
- Collaboration: Work closely with game development teams, marketing, and other departments to identify opportunities for leveraging data.
- Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by defining and enforcing governance standards.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest analytics technologies and methodologies, incorporating them into the team's workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Over 10 years of experience in data analytics, including at least 4 years in a leadership role managing a team of analysts, engineers, and scientists.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the gaming industry or a strong understanding of player analytics and game KPIs is essential.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences.
