Ubisoft is launching a new video content series called "Mode Coop" to highlight the French creatives shaping the cultural and artistic industries.
In each episode, a talent from our studios meets a professional from another sector to discuss their respective journeys, share their inspirations, talk about their relationship with video games, and build bridges between their two worlds.
Throughout these discussions, interspersed with anecdotes and moments of camaraderie, you'll get to know our guests and witness an unlikely connection between creative professions from different industries.
Thomas Jolly Meets Salomé Strappazzon
We chose to kick off "Mode Coop" by bringing together artistic directors: on one side, Salomé Strappazzon, an artistic director at Ubisoft Bordeaux who has worked on games like Child of Light, Far Cry 3, and Assassin's Creed: Mirage; on the other, Thomas Jolly, the performing arts talent behind the opening and closing ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Games.
Could theater and video games have more in common than you think?
Our two guests shared plenty of juicy anecdotes about the behind-the-scenes of their creations.
Did you catch the Assassin's Creed reference during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics? Salomé did, and she was deeply touched by this nod, sparking a lively discussion...
