The tournament will unfold across three action-packed phases over two weeks:

• Phase 1: February 3-7, 2025 - not open to public

• Phase 2: February 8-12, 2025 - not open to public

• Phase 3 (Finals): February 14-16, 2025, open to the public at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway

The MGM Music Hall at Fenway is a state-of-the-art venue located in the heart of Boston, offering an immersive experience for fans and players alike.

Age Restriction:

The event is open to everyone aged 17-years old and older. Fans aged 17-years old are allowed to attend the event so long as they provide parental consent, which must be in the form of a written document.

The event is not open to anyone aged below 17-years-old.

The parental consent form can be found HERE.

Valid photo ID with date of birth will be required for entry.

Event staff will be stationed in the queuing lanes to verify IDs and collect parental consent forms directly.

MGM Music Hall Door Opening Times:

• February 14: Doors open at 9:45 AM (Early access at 9:15 AM for Gold, Elite, and Diamond ticket holders).

• February 15: Doors open at 9:45 AM (Early access at 9:15 AM for Gold, Elite, and Diamond ticket holders).

• February 16: Doors open at 11:45 AM (Early access at 11:15 AM for Gold, Elite, and Diamond ticket holders).

To enter the venue, there will be three separate lines: two for general admission ticket holders and one dedicated lane for Gold, Elite, and Diamond ticket holders with early access.

Fans will be able to redeem their Squad Bundle in-game items upon entry into the venue.

Gold and Diamond ticket holders can collect their merchandise bundles from a dedicated, clearly signposted area on-site.

ELITE ticket holders will receive their merchandise bundles on Friday, delivered directly to their boxes.

Here are the 20 teams qualified for the Six Invitational 2024. The following teams have secured their spot in the competition by earning points in the Global Standings through the Regional Leagues, the two Rainbow Six Majors during the season and the Last Chance Qualifiers:

The 20 teams were seeded based on their ranking in the Global Standings as follows:

Seed 1: teams ranked 1st to 4th.

Seed 2: teams ranked 5th to 8th.

Seed 3: teams ranked 9th to 12th.

Seed 4: teams ranked 13th to 16th.

Seed 5: teams ranked 17th to 20th.

For the Group Stage, teams were divided into groups of 5 teams based on this seeding. With the exception of Brazil due to having 5 representatives, teams from the same region were not allowed to be drawn into the same group as each other.

COMPETITIVE FORMAT

Group Stage - February 3-7

The 20 participating teams will be placed into four groups of five. Within each group, all teams will play each other once. The four first teams in each group will advance to the Playoffs while the last placed teams will be knocked out of the tournament.

The point attribution system is as follows:

4 points for a 2:0 win

3 points for a 2:1 win

1 point for a 1:2 loss

0 points for a 0:2 loss

Playoffs - February 9-11

16 teams will qualify for the Playoffs from the Group Stage and will face each other in a double elimination bracket. All matches will be BO3, and each team will get a second shot at redemption after their first loss. Teams qualifying for the Playoffs will be placed in the bracket based on their seeding in the Group Stage as follows:

1st placed team in each group qualifies to the 2nd round of the Playoff Upper Bracket.

The teams that will rank 2nd in each group, will qualify to the 1st round of the Playoff Upper Bracket. They will get to pick their opponent amongst the 3rd place finishers from any group other than their own. The pick order will be determined by comparing the scores of all 2nd place finishers. Among the 2nd place finishers, the team that ranks the highest chooses first, and so on. If two 2nd placed finishers are tied in number of points, they will be seeded following the tiebreaker rules outlined in the competition's rulebook. 4th placed teams will be in the 1st round of the Playoff Lower Bracket.

The winners of each match will advance within their bracket, with the loser of a match in the Lower Bracket being eliminated from the competition.

Grand Final - February 14-16

The last six teams remaining will play in front of an audience at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in hopes of lifting the famous hammer. All matches will be BO3, except the Grand Final, which will be a BO5 to decide this season's World Champions!

Blacklyte will have a dedicated activation space/booth where fans can explore Blacklyte products and participate in various activations and events happening throughout the weekend.

CTRL will also be on-site, offering product samples and tastings for fans to enjoy throughout the Finals.

cosplay

Cosplayers are welcome on-site for the Six Invitational 2024.

Please be advised that weapons of any kind---including replicas, non-functional items, or those used for cosplay---as well as gadgets and full face-covering masks or makeup, are strictly prohibited inside the venue. Helmets, goggles, or makeup that do not entirely cover the face may be allowed at the discretion of venue security.

The costumes:

• Should not pose any danger to others and/or yourself.
• Must follow specific requirements as part of the rules for cosplay which can be found in the cosplay guidelines.
• Must not contain any symbols or markings forbidden by local legislation.
• Must be inspected and validated by on-site security personnel.
• Must be kept covered or hidden during transportation to the venue.
• Please consider changing into your costume at the venue. A changing room will be made available on-site, on the 3^rd floor.

Cosplayers must enter the venue through a dedicated queue on Lansdowne Street, called "COSPLAY" where a specific security screening will take place.

Keep in mind that the venue staff won't be allowed to keep / store rejected accessories at the venue. All rejected items must leave the perimeter of the venue at the time of decision.

When travelling to and from the venue, please be aware that not everyone knows about cosplay. Realistic costumes and/or accessories could cause fear for the safety of the public.

• We strongly recommend changing into your costume at the venue itself.

This is also for your own benefit as it could avoid unnecessary intervention from local authorities.
