Your Guide to the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen 2023
2023年4月19日With Stage 1 of the BLAST R6 Season 2023 done and dusted, we are excited to welcome you to the very first BLAST R6 Major! From April 24 to May 7, the top teams of all nine regions will gather in Copenhagen, Denmark, to compete for the title and their share of the USD $750,000 total prize pool.
Making its way to Denmark for the first time, the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen introduces a brand-new format this season, with 3 phases and 24 participating teams.

The event will take place from April 24 to May 7 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Phase 1: Play-in - April 24 to 27 - not open to public.
Phase 2: Playoffs - April 29 to May 3 - not open to public.
Phase 3: Finals - May 5 to 7 - open to the public at the Forum Copenhagen

Age Restriction: Please note that the event is open to everyone aged 18 years old and up. Participants aged 16 and 17 years old are allowed to attend the event so long as they provide parental consent, which can be in the form of a written document. The event is not open to anyone aged below 16 years old.

The venue will open on:
Friday, May 5 at 11:30 AM CEST.
Saturday, May 6 at 12:30 PM CEST.

All attendees with a valid ticket will receive a card with two printed codes, redeemable at the main desk upon arrival on-site, for an in-game operator background card and weapon skin.
Gold Pass ticket holders can retrieve their merch bundle at the entrance of the venue.

Phase 1: Play-in – April 24 to 27

The 16 teams will compete in 4 groups of 4 in a GSL groups format:
This phase will be played across four days with a combination of Bo1 and Bo3 for elimination matches. The top two teams from each group will move forward into Phase 2 of the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen.
Phase 2: Playoffs – April 29 to May 3
Phase 2 will feature 16 teams, the 8 teams that have directly qualified through their regional programs and the 8 teams that battled their way through Phase 1.

Phase 2 will run for 5 days and will follow a Swiss tournament format, with matches played in a combination of Bo1 and Bo3 for elimination matches. After each match during this phase, teams move on to play against teams that have the same win/loss ratio, until only 8 teams remain.
The 8 surviving teams from Phase 2 will move on to Phase 3.
Phase 3: Finals – May 5 to 7
Phase 3 will take place in front of a live audience at the Forum Copenhagen. The top 8 teams so far in the competition will face off in a Bo3 single elimination bracket.
The Grand Final will be a Bo5 match to decide the champions of the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen.

cosplay
We're excited to welcome cosplayers on-site for the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen to share their creations and costumes during the event.
The costumes and props:
Should not pose any danger to others and/or yourself.
Must follow specific requirements as part of the rules for cosplay which can be found in the cosplay guidelines.
Must not contain any symbols or markings forbidden by local legislation.
Must be inspected and validated by on-site security personnel.
Must be kept covered or hidden during transportation to the venue.
Please consider changing into your costume at the venue. Changing rooms will be made available on-site.
Keep in mind that the venue staff won't be allowed to keep / store rejected accessories at the venue. All rejected items must leave the perimeter of the venue at time of decision.

Here are the details on how to redeem them:
Register your account by heading over to https://drops-register.ubi.com and link your Twitch account to your Ubisoft account. You will then be prompted to opt into the drops feature. Please make sure that your account is linked before you tune in to the broadcast.
All drops will need to be claimed manually. You can track all the Drops progression on the Inventory page https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory. When the Drops condition is reached, you will need to click on the "Claim" button in the Inventory page to claim the reward and continue the progression towards the next reward. Please note that the "Claim" button will be available only 24 hours after the end of each campaign. There will be 12 distinct campaigns during the Major, corresponding to each Playday of the competition, from April 24 to May 7. The delivery of claimed items will usually be done 48 hours after the end of each campaign.
More information: Twitch Drops are activated for all five platforms the game is currently available on: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. You do not currently need to own Rainbow Six Siege to be able to earn drops. If you have your Twitch account linked to your Ubisoft account, and your Ubisoft account has been linked with your console accounts or PC, then you will receive the items when you login for the first time after installing.
prize pool & global standings points
Total prize pool of the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen: $750,000.
The total prize pool is divided into 2 categories: a Team Participation Prize and a Team Performance Prize.
As part of the Team Participation Prize, each team will receive $7,000 in prize money for qualifying and competing in the event.
The Team Performance Prize will be awarded as follows, based on the final rankings in the competition:
- 1st place: $200,000
- 2nd place: $80,000
- 3rd- 4th place: $40,000
- 5th- 8th place: $20,000
- 9th- 11th place: $13,000
- 12th- 14th place: $11,000
- 15th- 16th place: $9,000

- 24th place: $5,500
The 24 teams competing during the Major will also have the opportunity to earn points in the Global Standings to qualify for the Six Invitational 2024. Each team will be awarded the following points based on their final placement:

Although not mandatory on-site, we recommend all participants to wear a face mask when they are at the venue.
Cosplay is encouraged but will be subject to additional screening and restrictions.
Every participant will be subject to a search by security. Bags part of a cosplay uniform will be allowed and subject to a security check.
No outside food or drink will be allowed in the venue.
