- Q1: Could you introduce yourself and tell us more about your personal story?
Hi, I'm Yianni from Yiannimize. I run a company specializing in customizing vehicles for high-net-worth individuals and celebrities. My passion for cars has driven me into this industry, where vehicle wrapping has allowed me the creative freedom to transform any car from its original color to something entirely unique. The beauty of wraps is that you can change them back to the original color, preserving the car's value, even after going wild with chrome pink, yellow, or green.
- Q2: Can you tell us more about the Yiannimize brand and your work?
Yiannimize has grown into a global brand, boasting a significant presence on platforms like YouTube with over 2 million subscribers. While we're renowned for our expertise in wraps, our partnership with Urban in Milton Keynes now extends to body kits for Range Rovers, Defenders, Rolls-Royce Cullinans, Lamborghini Urus, and various custom wheels.
- Q3: What is your vision about car customization?
Car customization has a rich history; personally, I've worked on classics like the Renault 5 GT Turbo and the Ford Fiesta XR2i. Today, advancements in technology mean customization is more intricate, particularly with electronics. While modifying stereo units is less straightforward due to warranties and complex wiring, the appeal of custom kits, wheels, and wraps remains timeless.
- Q4: Can you describe your creative process and the way you iterate on your creations?
I'm personally someone that loves things that are very very out there, I like to be very bright and very out there. I don't care what people think, and that is why I've done cars in chrome rose gold and chrome turquoise. Chrome is a very hit and miss color but for me, it stands out, people talk about it and whether they love you or whether they hate you, they will say ".Have you seen Yianni's car? Oh my God, what has he done?" or they might say "..Oh my God. Wow, that's amazing" As long as I'm putting the brand out there and I'm coming up with different things and being as creative as possible, people will talk about it.
- Q5: Which creation are you most proud of and can you tell us more about it?
I'd probably say many many years ago William Galas' SLR. We'd done it in chrome silver. Sort of like a mirror ball. That is probably what really puts us on the map. That was in the newspapers, that was all online and everyone was talking about that car. That really put me on the map for someone that just customizes cars for the football players, and I will do anything they pretty much ask for and that was on a £400,000 car 15 years ago.
