What is Star Wars Outlaws about?
Star Wars Outlaws is the first-ever open world Star Wars™ game, set between the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™. Explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new. Risk it all as Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix. Fight, steal and outwit your way through the galaxy's crime syndicates as you join the galaxy's most wanted. If you're willing to take the risk, the galaxy is full of opportunity.

Kay and her story were developed in close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games to ensure that they are an authentic part of the wider Star Wars galaxy and the story respects the source material and time period in which it is set.

Yes, 49 achievements are available for Star Wars Outlaws, including completing missions using abilities and building reputation with the syndicates.
Will I need a Ubisoft Connect account to play the game?
Yes. If you don't already have a Ubisoft Connect account, you will be able to create one on the first launch of the game. After linking your Steam and your Ubisoft Connect accounts, you won't need to log in to your Ubisoft Connect account again the next time you launch the game. Having a Ubisoft Connect account will let you keep your saves and progression on all platforms, and you will also earn extra rewards by completing additional challenges.
Will I need to download and install Ubisoft Connect separately?
No. The Steam installation includes a light version of Ubisoft Connect, so no additional installation is necessary.

We want as many players as possible to enjoy Star Wars Outlaws, so the game includes a range of accessibility options. Read more about the features here.
How much customization is there?
Kay has three gear slots, one each for chest, holster and pants. Each outfit has gameplay impacts and transmogrification is present so you can wear an outfit you love whilst getting the gameplay boost that most suits your playstyle.
Will Star Wars Outlaws have New Game+?
We're currently focused on delivering updates and DLC to players, we don't have anything to share on New Game+ at this stage.
STORY AND WORLD
What planets are players able to explore?
You are able to explore both iconic and new locations, each with a different ecosystem, different inhabitants and deep, rich stories. On your journey, you are able to explore Canto Bight, Kijimi, Tatooine, Akiva and one that we're very excited about is Toshara, a new addition to the Star Wars galaxy and a result of Massive's close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
What involvement does the Empire have in the story?
The Empire is ever-present, as Star Wars Outlaws follows the devastating battle of Hoth. The Empire is the law in the Outer Rim and will come after you if they see you breaking rules or causing trouble. In addition, the Empire's presence is felt in the civil unrest, and this is what allows the underworld to thrive and what sets Kay on her journey as an outlaw.
Which crime syndicates are in Star Wars Outlaws?
In the golden age of crime syndicates, the syndicates in Star Wars Outlaws are spread across the Outer Rim and their impact can be felt everywhere. Through your adventure, you get to meet the Pyke Syndicate, The Hutt Cartel and Crimson Dawn, as well as the Ashiga Clan, which is a new syndicate created in close collaboration between Massive and Lucasfilm Games.
What species is Nix?
Nix is a Merqaal which is a rare kind of mammal native to a mysterious rainforest planet, one who's location and name remains unknown. Merqaals are a new species for Star Wars, developed in close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

Are there microtransactions in Star Wars Outlaws?
Players can purchase the Season Pass and the Ultimate Upgrade Bundle separately if they did not purchase the Ultimate Edition.
