Asia Competitive Format Changes
Following feedback from the teams during Stage 1, we have adapted the format of the Asia League for Stage 2, changing the Asia LCQ to the Asia Qualifier.
The new Asia Qualifier structure will be as follows:
The Asia Qualifier will follow a Double Elimination bracket format. All matches will remain Best of 3, to ensure the highest quality competition in the step before Major qualification.
The Top 2 teams from Asia will still qualify for the Major - in a Double Elimination bracket, this means the Upper Bracket Final and the Lower Bracket Final become the qualification games, in place of the Semi-Finals in the Single Elimination format.
The official broadcast will follow Upper Bracket matches and the Lower Bracket Final, with all other games being available for community casting. Additionally, we will be looking to make VoDs of the Lower Bracket matches available after each playday.
