Reporting of our emissions is based on guidance from the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, with a market-based method. This reporting is certified by an external auditor and declared to the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) and to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
Our action plan
Reducing our environmental impact is a big challenge, and decarbonization is at the core of this journey. At Ubisoft, we are planning and measuring our actions in 6 specific areas:
Gouvernance
Define and steer our sustainability strategy, ensuring clear accountability, strong policies, and transparent reporting.
Awareness
Engage and empower employees through training, communication, and initiatives that build sustainable habits at work and beyond.
Workplace
Adapt and improve our work environments to be more efficient, inclusive, and supportive of employee well-being, while powering them with 100% renewable electricity and minimizing the impact of business travel.
Procurement
Collaborate with suppliers across the full value chain to integrate sustainability into sourcing, production, and delivery.
Sustainable IT
Reduce the footprint of our IT systems and services by improving efficiency and sourcing renewable energy for our data centers and infrastructure.
Games production
Integrate eco-design principles into the development and operations of our games, reducing their environmental footprint without compromising player experience.
