King of the Road Trip is a livestream event that pits racers from the four corners of the US together on a competitive adventure through their respective regions – the west, mid-west, the south and the east-coast.
Giving players access to the game’s entire open world – a scale model of the entire US, with nine major cities and seven distinct regions – the open beta is a chance to climb through the first two levels of the progression system. As you earn followers by competing in events, pulling off street stunts, and doing just about any other cool thing you can think of, you’ll unlock new vehicles, motorsports disciplines, and events in which to compete. Also, just like in the full version, you’ll be able to explore alone or team up with up to three friends in co-op during the beta period.
During the open beta, a livestreamed King of the Road Trip event will kick off at 1:00PM PT on June 22, with 16 racers competing for the title. Coming from four different areas of the US – the West, Midwest, South, and East Coast – the challengers will compete in an adventure set in their respective regions, testing their skills on a journey through the US. The last racer standing will be crowned as King of the Road Trip, with the event ending at 5:00PT on June 22. Tune in and watch the action on Twitch, YouTube Live, and Facebook Live.

The Crew 2 races onto PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 29.
