The wait is almost over! This weekend on May 19th and 20th, the top eight teams in the world will go head to head, competing for the title of this season’s Pro League Champion. This article will go over some of the latest information leading up to the event, as well as an important update for those attending the event in person.
Meet the Guest Analysts
In addition to our four official casters: Parker “Interro” Mackay, Ghassan “Milosh” Finge, Michael “Kixstar” Stockley, and Devin “Mzo” Becker the team will be joined by two guest analysts and veterans from the Six Invitational casting table: Davide “FoxA” Bucci and Alex “Z1ronic” Dalgaard-Hansen. FoxA has recently returned to the Pro League, his team beastcoast beating out Counter Logic Gaming in the latest Pro League relegations. Z1ronic is a Pro League veteran and beloved community advocate.
Update on Cosplay at the Venue
Harrah’s has asked our attendees to refrain from cosplaying/costumes of any sort at the venue and on property. Details can be found below; we appreciate your understanding and thank you for respectfully complying.
HARRAH’S:
The appearance of attendees dressed in heavy military and/or SWAT-like attire and/or weaponry on the property may cause fear and concern among venue/hotel guests; anyone who may be misconstrued as a law enforcement officer, military or other such personnel is prohibited.
As a company we continue to take steps to increase the safety and well-being of our guests and properties. Therefore, we will implement a zero tolerance position that **NO cosplay/costumes/weapons/props of any type will be permitted. **
In order to eliminate any inconvenience for people who may be planning to arrive in costume, we are asking for everyone’s full support and cooperation in getting this message out in advance. People arriving in costume will not be permitted on the property. People staying in the hotel should leave their costumes and props hidden from view inside their vehicles eliminating the possibility they may be discovered in their rooms and interpreted as real.
The Official After Party @ the Pool After Dark
The official after party for the Season 7 Finals will take place on-site at the Pool After Dark. The party kicks off Sunday night, May 20th at 8:00 PM EST and lasts until midnight. General Admission is free and open to anyone 21 and over (that means even if you couldn’t attend the event in person, you can attend the after party). There will be live music, and guests are invited to take advantage of the heated indoor pool if they like!
