As we pass the halfway point this Challenger League season, we saw a number of upsets in all three regions as teams jostle to stay within the playoff spots.
Europe
ENCE eSports and Team Empire continued their dominating performance this season with each of them finding two victories in fairly straightforward matches. The one team that got close to taking points off of the two giants was EnD gaming as they went to ten rounds against ENCE eSports, but were unable to clinch the draw.
Further down in the leaderboard, a victory by Overtime eSports over T3H Esports keeps Overtime within just a single point from the playoff positions while a disappointing draw for EnD Gaming against eighth-placed DeathroW drops the Italian team from third to fifth place.
ENCE eSports vs EnD Gaming (6-4)
3DMAX vs DeathroW (6-2)
Overtime eSport vs T3H Esports (6-3)
Team Empire vs TrainHard eSports (6-3)
DeathroW vs EnD Gaming (5-5)
ENCE eSports vs 3DMAX (6-3)

North America
The North American league, meanwhile, saw a flurry of upsets as FLAWLESS GG took down two of the top teams in the league. They began the day with a victory over the top placed team of The Nomads on Bank followed by a 6-3 victory over Team SiNister on Oregon, both partially thanks to a series of impressive defensive holds which seemed impenetrable for the attackers. This propels FLAWLESS GG right up into the third position, doubling their total points from the rest of the season.
Elsewhere Disrupt Gaming played Excelerate Gaming, a rematch from earlier in this season which previously concluded in a 6-0 sweep in the favour of Disrupt. Excelerate, however, had obviously been preparing for this game as they won the matchup 6-4.
FLAWLESS GG vs The Nomads (6-2)
Elephant Gang vs Team SiNister (5-5)
Miner Esports vs Disrupt Gaming (5-5)
Goober Squad vs Excelerate Gaming (6-2)
Elephant Gang vs The Nomads (6-3)

Latin America
Finally, Guidance Gaming and ReD DevilS continued their winning streaks, with commanding victories over Cartel E-sports and Urban Assualt. In what was almost the first 12-0 overall victory in the season, Guidance increased their round difference to a massive +23, the largest across any region.
Meanwhile, 2Kill Gaming’s four points gained against Santos e-Sports pushes them from fifth place up to third, pushing Cartel E-sports out of the playoff positions.
YeaH Gaming vs WP Gaming (5-5, 6-2)
Guidance Gaming vs Cartel E-sports (6-0, 6-1)
ReD DevilS e-Sports vs Urban Assault (6-1, 6-3)
2Kill Gaming vs Santos e-Sports (6-4, 6-3)
Next week’s games include two must-win games for EnD Gaming as they play Overtime eSports and 3DMAX, games they will hope to win in order to climb back into the top four. Team SiNister are also in a similar situation as they sit in the fifth position and will play second placed Disrupt Gaming and fourth-placed The Nomads next week while, finally, the seventh and eighth-placed Latin American teams of Urban Assualt and WP Gaming will face each other, with both teams desperately needing a second victory.
