As we announced a few weeks back, during Year 2 of the Rainbow Six: Siege competition both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players will be privileged to compete in the Major Leagues. We will have 8 teams per region and platform that will take part in the Major League. The Major League will run during each of 4 Seasons.
How to earn a spot in the Major League?
Xbox One
Based on the results of the Rainbow Six Pro League Season 3 and the Six Invitational, we will invite the top four teams to the Major League in both Europe and North America. Those teams will be joined by four best teams from the qualifiers, which will be divided into two phases:
- Open phase: two open tournaments taking place on February 25th and March 4th with four teams making it to the Final Qualifier from each of them, for a total of eight teams.
- Closed phase: the Final Qualifier is scheduled for March 11th with 8 teams competing for 4 slots in the Major League.

PlayStation 4
As there was no Rainbow Six Pro League for this console, we will run three open qualifiers:
- Open qualifier #1: open tournament happening on February 25th with two best teams making it to the Major League.
- Open qualifier #2: open tournament scheduled for March 4th with two best teams making it to the Major League.
- Open qualifier #3: open tournament scheduled for March 11th with four best teams making it to the Major League.
