Interview With FaZe Clan

What has FaZe learned from their negative results at the Six Major Paris?
- Leonardo “Astro” Buzzachera: We’ve learned the same we had learned from all of the other championships we’ve participated. We managed to see clearly that we needed to change, and this time not only the gameplay, but also the team. So, we opted for having Yoona replacing gohaN.

How has Yoona’s arrival changed the way you play?
- Leandro “tgk” Portela: With Yoona the team has gained some freedom and confidence to perform some plays that hadn’t been favorably considered before, being only kept to ourselves. Now we’ve got a more balanced playstyle, both aggressive and more tactical and smooth, playing on the defensive.

What does FaZe have to do in order to change the negative retrospect acquired from the international tournaments?
- Gabriel “cameram4n” Hespanhol: We got to be prepared and relaxed, have a clear head and try to look at the competition as something fun, not stressful.

Is the psychological factor still an obstacle for FaZe Clan? How are you working to change that?
- João “Hsnamuringa” Deam: The psychological factor has, indeed, always hindered us in major competitions, as it has also hindered other teams, as there’s a lot involved. However, we have been able to dribble that obstacle lately.

How is it going to be like, playing for a fervent crowd of over 10 thousand people in an arena?
- João “Yoona” Gabriel: It’s going to be good to play with so many supporters. It’s undoubtedly the best event I’ve even participated and I can’t wait to play in front of all that crowd.

Your first battle is, in theory, easier than Immortals’. What are your thoughts on Mock-It?
- Rafael “mav” Loureiro: We can’t underestimate anyone! Every team playing in the Rainbow Six Pro League Finals is capable – and they proved that during each stage – of winning any of the other squads, considering they’re having a good day. Let’s just focus on imposing our game and studying Mock-It, which is a great team that has been unbeatable since the beginning of the return of the season, just like us.

Do you believe the tournament brackets has favored FaZe this Pro League?
- Gabriel “cameram4n” Hespanhol: Personally, I don’t believe we’ve been favored by the brackets, once Mock-It has been showing a great campaign since the return of Pro League. We know their quality, as well as Rogue’s, even Nora-Rengo’s. All these teams have been amazing.

Please leave a message to all FaZe Clan’s fans.
- Everyone: Thank you to our fans, families, and sponsors who made possible for us to play Rainbow Six Siege as our profession. We’re working hard so we won’t let you down again and to make all our fans very proud.
