The stakes were high this weekend, as twelve teams competed in relegation matches to determine who will secure the six open Pro League spots. The teams fought hard and surprisingly, only one Pro League team managed to retain their place in the division. The teams who dropped out of Pro League will have a six-month period of no competition while they wait for the start of the new Challenger League season in September. On the other hand, five Challenger League teams proved their worth by defeating the more experienced Pro League teams. With the influx of fresh blood (combined with some veterans who are now returning to Pro League) the upcoming season is set to be the most exciting one yet!
