DreamHack Austin kicks off this Friday! This is your survival guide to all things #DHATXR6: where to watch, when to watch, and all of the teams competing! This weekend, teams from around the world will be competing for a collective prize pool of $50,000 and the chance to prove themselves against some of the best Rainbow Six teams in the scene.
Who’s competing?
There are 16 BYOC teams and 12 closed tournament teams competing. The top four teams from the BYOC tournament (taking place on Friday, June 1st) will move into the closed tournament. Below is the bracket for the closed tournament.
At the conclusion of the BYOC matches, a drawing will occur to determine which group they join. If the BYOC tournament finishes in time, we will do this drawing live on stream. If not, we’ll update via social media.

What’s the schedule?
Please note that the tournament will be running on an accelerated schedule meaning that a match will start as soon as the one prior is completed. Due to the nature of the schedule, not all matches during the Group Stage will be streamed.
