The first edition of the Six Major is just around the corner! Next month will kick off the biggest live event in Europe to date. Last week, we unveiled key information around the event, but one important detail remains – what will the Six Major groups look like?
Groups for the Six Major will be drawn live on stream July 26th, 2018 after the last European Pro League match. Fans and teams alike can begin to think about their dream draw as the seeding slots are confirmed. Be sure to tune to watch the drawing live at Twitch.tv/Rainbow6.
The drawing will function as follows: the Six Major’s participants have been split into four tiers. Only one team from each region can be in each group, except for the European region, which has a maximum of two teams in group one and four.
Seed 1 is comprised of the Six Invitational 2018 winner and the Pro League Season 8 semi-finalists:
- PENTA Sports (EU)
- Rogue (NA)
- Team Liquid (LATAM)
- Millenium (EU)
Seed 2 includes the Pro League Season 8 quarter-finalists:
- Fnatic (APAC)
- Evil Geniuses (NA)
- NORA-Rengo (APAC)
- FaZe Clan (LATAM)
Seed 3 will feature the winners of online Qualifiers:
- Element Mystic (APAC)
- Immortals (LATAM)
- Orgless (EU)
- Obey Alliance (NA)
Seed 4 is comprised of the DreamHack Valencia winner, the host-country team, and second place online Qualifiers:
- Vitality (EU)
- Ninjas in Pyjamas (LATAM)
- Mock-it (EU)
- I don’t know (EU)
