For Honor will be available on the Epic Store starting August 2! The Epic Store is having a giveaway for the For Honor Standard Edition from August 2 to 8. You’ll get to download For Honor Standard edition for free on your PC - and keep it forever!
The Jormungandr is the 25th Hero to join the For Honor roster.
Playable as both male (Gretar) and female (Hulda), this new Viking hero wields a Hammer. The Jormungandr is a terrifying sight that fights to crush the weak.
Year 3 pass holders will have immediate access to the Jormungandr on August 1st. All other players will be able to purchase the new Hero on August 8 for 15,000 in-game Steel.
The newest map, Storr Stronghold, launches with Year 3 Season 3 for all players! This new map will be added into the Breach mode map rotation. We showcased the full Storr Stronghold map for you on our Twitch channel:
During the stream, we shared the first view of Spectator Mode with an in-game demo. Spectator Mode is a feature available on all platforms and designed to support the competitive scene and make it easier to run online tournaments. This mode will also allow any players to spectate their friends playing online.
Spectator Mode will have 3 views available:
- Tactical view: top-down view of the entire battlefield
- Free cam: roam freely around the map
- Player cam: watch a specific player on either side
Patch v2.11 launches next week with our Season 3. In this latest patch, the Nobushi, Shinobi, and Orochi will receive balance updates to make them more competitive.
