This Week in For Honor - 4/27/2017

Hello Warriors!

This is another big week for us on the For Honor team as we are announcing the details of Season Two, Shadow & Might! Also, our first season has come to a blood soaked conclusion, with the Vikings coming out on top! Congratulations to you all! See below for more details on the Faction War, and the rewards going out to each Faction. This week also saw the release of Patch V1.06 on all platforms which brings with it a number of key connectivity fixes and improvements, as well as additional character balance changes. We’d also like to announce that our Warrior’s Den (twitch.tv/forhonorgame) weekly livestream has permanently moved to Thursdays at Noon EDT (16:00 UTC). Mark it in your calendars!

SEASON TWO IS COMING ON MAY 16

Shadow & Might will bring two additional heroes, the lethal Shinobi and the fierce Centurion, as well as two extra maps, new customization items and gameplay updates. Maps and gameplay updates will be free for all players at the start of Season Two. The new heroes will be available for free immediately for Season Pass holders on May 16, while all other players will be able to unlock them on May 23 for 15,000 Steel each.

In the war between the three deadly factions, Knights, Vikings and Samurai, two new Heroes enter the battlefield:

Shinobi (Samurai Assassin) – The Shinobi are silent warriors able to move with a dancer’s grace and kill with precision thanks to a lifetime of disciplined training. They wield the traditional Japanese Kusarigama.
Centurion (Knight Hybrid) – The Centurion sees the battlefield like a chessboard. Equipped with the reliable standard issue gladius, Centurions can bypass enemy defenses through strategic close-quarters combat.

The two new maps, Forge and Temple Garden, will expand upon the selection of multiplayer battlefields. Additionally, Season Two will introduce a new level of gear rarity – Epic gear – which will increase the maximum gear score along with a balancing overhaul for the entire gear stats system. Following a three week off season, the Faction War will reset on May 16 as the battle for supremacy between all three factions enters its second chapter.

NEW EXECUTIONS

The most bloodthirsty among you will need to wait no longer! This week, twelve new executions (one per hero) are coming to the game. Be prepared, they are incredibly brutal.

These can be found in the Heroes customization menu and acquired using Steel.
