Starting in Y8S2, the Friend or Foe competitive circuit will begin and create historical moments for the competitive scene of For Honor. The circuit will comprise of 3 tournaments starting with Phase 1: 4v4 Dominion, then move onto Phase 2: 2v2 Brawl and then culminate with Phase 3: 1v1 Duel to crown For Honor's first ever Friend or Foe champion. With a prize pool of over $17,000 as well as participation rewards, Friend or Foe will be a tense and fun experience to both play in and watch.

Phase 1: 4v4 Dominion
Phase 1 will run as you'd expect our 4v4 tournaments to run.
Prize Pool: $8,650
Open qualifier 1 and 2 will take place June 29th and June 30th.
Open Qualifier 3 and 4 will take place July 6th and 7th.
Invitational Qualifier will take place July 13th and 14th.
Series Finals will take place July 20th.
Upon completion of Phase 1, the Friend or Foe circuit format will commence. The top 8 players of Phase 1 will have the opportunity to break off into pairs and form new teams. These news teams will be invited to the invitational qualifier for Phase 2: 2v2 Brawl. Friends who once fought alongside each other will need to decide on how they will form new teams to eventually compete amongst each other.
Phase 2: 2v2 Brawl
Phase 2 will begin in Y8S3.
Prize Pool: $5,000
Completion of Phase 2 will once again trigger the Friend or Foe circuit format. The top 4 players will be split up and invited to the invitational qualifier for the 3rd and final Phase of the Friend or Foe Circuit.
Phase 3: 1v1 Duel
Phase 3 will begin in Y8S4 and will be the culmination of the entire circuit and will crown one player as the Friend or Foe champion.

The Friend or Foe circuit is a unique format that is meant to explore what it means to be a professional For Honor player. We are looking to test our top players in ways they've never been tested before as well as bring new faces to the scene.
