How to Play as Vanguards, Heavies, Assassins, and Hybrids in For Honor - Intermediate Tip

For Honor features 12 Heroes with whom you can wade into battle – and while they're all unique, with different abilities and play styles, they all fall into one of four categories: Vanguards, Heavies, Assassins, and Hybrids. In learning how to master these Hero types, it helps to know a few things about their strengths, weaknesses, and basic rhythms – and Moo Snuckel, one of the YouTube Generals in our For Honor Battle Tips series, is here to help.

In the following video, Moo Snuckel demonstrates the differences between the four Hero types, and how to employ strategies that make the best use of them. No matter which Hero is your favorite, it's always good to know how to use the rest in case someone else picks your Hero of choice. If nothing else, switching it up will keep your enemies guessing.

For more hints and guides designed to make you unstoppable on the battlefield, check out our For Honor Battle Tips page, where you'll find more videos from Moo Snuckel and his fellow Generals, That One Video Gamer and CaRtOoNz. Showing how to dominate with the Samurai, Knights, and Vikings, the videos are an essential, frequently updated resource for players looking to master For Honor and its Art of Battle system. Be sure to keep checking back as you conquer the Closed Beta and brace for For Honor's February 14 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
