FOR HONOR NOW ON DEDICATED SERVERS ON ALL PLATFORMS

After a lot of hard work, the For Honor team launched dedicated servers on February 19th for PC, and we are now happy to announce that dedicated servers have been launched on March 6th for Xbox One and PS4. With these successful releases, all For Honor players now benefit from a refreshed game experience brought by the new infrastructure.

In line with the launch of For Honor Season Five, “Age of Wolves”, the dedicated servers is the tremendous update that everybody has been waiting for.

With our new dedicated server architecture, players will see three key changes to their experience.

FLUIDITY

With the dedicated servers, you won’t experience the game pausing or receive a resync message when a player joins or quits an on-going game, providing a smoother experience.

CONNECTION

For Honor’s connection also improves, allowing better matchmaking with players in your area, and increased match completion ratios for all PvP modes. No more NAT requirements adds less of a barrier to getting you in the game. Also, if you are playing with someone having a weaker connection, the impact on your personal experience will be considerably reduced, thanks to the infrastructure now in place worldwide:

• Richmond, Virginia (USA)
• Sao Paulo, Brazil
• London, UK
• Frankfurt, Germany
• Tokyo, Japan
• Singapore
• Sydney, Australia

STABILITY

The implementation of Dedicated Servers means smoother and more stable matches: there will be fewer cases of players getting kicked out of a game because of errors. There is no longer a need for resyncs and the host migration process has been fully eliminated.

Dedicated servers are active on all PVP modes. For the time being, Player Vs. AI, Campaign and Custom Matches are not on dedicated servers.
