A Guide To Early Game Romance In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Ancient Greece is filled with mercenaries to battle, ships to cleave in two, loot to discover, and a giant war between Athens and Sparta to fight in. But don't let all that distract you from finding love in these troubled times. Your travels throughout the Aegean will give you plenty of opportunities to meet some intriguing characters, and if the mood should strike you, you'll have the opportunity to court some of them. To help you get started on your romantic adventures just in time for cuffing season, we've assembled a guide to five of the most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes you'll meet early on in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. We don't want to spoil too much, so this is just a small sampling of your potential partners; if you want to meet them all, you'll have to explore every corner of Greece.

Odessa

The first potential partner you're likely to meet is Odessa. You'll first encounter her just outside of Kephallonia. A descendant of Odysseus, Odessa is desperate to set out on her own adventure and make a name for herself. Help her come to terms with her lineage in Kephallonia and you'll have the chance to come to her aid again in Megaris. Once you've completed all of her quests, you'll have the opportunity to get to know each other a little better and even have the option of inviting Odessa to join your crew.

Likes – Adventure, sailing, getting into trouble

Dislikes – Farm life, being told what to do.

Auxesia

Found in Phokis within the Sanctuary of Delphi, Auxesia is a bit older than Kassandra or Alexios, but don't let her age fool you; she's as lively and vigorous as a person half her age. Unsatisfied by her husband, Auxesia needs your help creating a potion, which will "reinvigorate" her partner. Help her collect her ingredients and you just might find out that even the potion won't help satisfy her.

Likes - Moonlit walks in the forest, brewing elixirs

Dislikes - Laziness

Lykaon

Near the Chora of Delphi is a healer named Lykaon. Help him deliver some medicine to the nearby locals and you'll soon learn that he's so concerned taking care of everyone else that he never has time for himself. He cares deeply for his family and feels a distinct sense of duty to right the wrongs of his family's past. Help him reconcile with his family's history and you'll be able to comfort him even further.

Likes – Taking care of people, making medicines

Dislikes – Dishonesty, impiety

Kyra

After some time sailing around the Aegean, Barnabas will present you with a letter from Mykonos asking for aid. The letter is from Kyra, a rebel fighting for freedom from an Athenian tyrant on the islands of Mykonos and Delos. A rebel with a very strong cause, Kyra is tremendously skilled with a bow and will stop at nothing to free her people. Help her liberate the Delian islands and the two of you may just enjoy a nice moment on a beach in Mykonos together.

Likes – Rebelling, wine, throwing knives, beaches at sunset

Dislikes – Tyrants, soldiers

Thaletas

You weren't the only person Kyra sent a letter to asking for aid. Thaletas, a Spartan warrior also came to Kyra's aid in an attempt to overthrow the Athenian leader. By the time Kassandra or Alexios arrive, Kyra and Thaletas already have eyes for each other, but if you're so inclined, you can wedge yourself in between these two lovers. But don't try to make a play for both of them; you'll only be able to romance one of these freedom fighters.

Likes – A good fight, honor

Dislikes – The Athenians
