Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey Post-Launch Q&A

Following the reveal of the Assassin's Creed® Odyssey post-launch content, we had an eagle-eyed look at all your questions. Check out the answers below!

What will be included in Assassin's Creed® III Remastered?

Assassin's Creed III Remastered will be released in March 2019 and will include:

  • All the DLCs: Benedict Arnold Missions, Hidden Secrets Pack, and Tyranny of King George
  • Assassin's Creed® III Liberation Remastered
  • Remastered editions will feature 4K and HDR on PlayStation®4 Pro system, Xbox One X, and PC, higher resolution textures leveraging a new graphics engine, and several other graphical enhancements
  • Improved gameplay mechanics and ergonomics

Will Assassin's Creed III Remastered also be available as a stand-alone title?

Yes, players who don't own the Assassin's Creed Odyssey Season Pass will be able to purchase Assassin's Creed III Remastered as a stand-alone title.

Will multiplayer modes be included in Assassin's Creed III Remastered?

No, Assassin's Creed III Remastered won't feature any multiplayer modes.

Will we be able to purchase the season pass story arcs and episodes separately?

It will be possible to purchase each of the two story arcs separately. However, it won't be possible to purchase each episode on its own.

How long will each episode/story arc be?

It's difficult to answer that question, as playtime greatly varies from one player to another, but the two story arcs will for sure keep players busy for dozens of hours.

At what frequency will each episode be released?

Roughly every six weeks. The Legacy of the First Blade story arc will debut in December 2018 and the Fate of Atlantis in Spring 2019.

Will it be mandatory to complete the main path and to be "high level" to play the story arcs?

Players won't be required to finish the main path or have a high level to play or access the story arcs.

What free content will be available post-launch?

Story-driven quests:

The Lost Tales of Greece – Meet new faces, catch up with old friends, and cross swords with monstrous foes in self-contained questlines. The Lost Tales of Greece will release regularly in between DLC episodes, providing a constant flow of new stories for players to discover.

Recurring in-game events:

Epic Ships and Mercenaries – Each week, a new epic ship or mercenary will appear, offering you challenging battles as you hunt down those powerful enemies.

Daily and Weekly Contracts – Complete those quests across Greece, rewarding you with a special currency to be spent at the oikos of the Olympian merchant to acquire rare and exotic gear.

We'll also have new monstrous mythical creatures to confront and a New Game Plus mode that will provide the ultimate challenge for players willing to test their mettle.

Will there be a Discovery Tour for Assassin's Creed Odyssey?

Yes, there will be a Discovery Tour for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. We'll share more information at a later date.
