Anno 1800 Console Edition: cross-play and cross-progression possibilities

As Anno 1800 Console Edition is launching on next-gen consoles on 16th March, let's have a look at what the possibilities are on cross-play and cross-progression.

With Anno 1800 Console Edition, you can play with up to 16 Players, creating astounding cities, managing the games' complex economic simulation, as well as expanding your empire to a new region. In co-op mode, you can add up to four players per team.

Concerning the cross-play function, unfortunately PS5 & Xbox Series players will not be able to play together. Nor with PC players for that matter.

But what about the cross-progression? Anno 1800 Console Edition allows you to play on a platform and then resume your progression on another platform. The cross-progression is therefore available between Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
