November 6, 2024The BLAST R6 Major cycle for 2024 culminates in Montreal, the very city where Rainbow Six Siege was born. Montreal will proudly host 20 of the world's top Rainbow Six Siege teams who've fought through intense regional competitions for their chance at the year's final LAN event. Now, in the City of Saints, it's time to crown the ultimate champions!

Phase 1 - Play-In: November 7-8 - Closed to the Public

Age Restriction: The event is open to attendees aged 18 and older. Fans aged 16-17 may attend with a signed parental consent form. Attendees under 16 are not permitted. The parental consent forms in both English and French are available here.

November 16th: 11:15AM EST (GOLD), 11:45AM EST (GENERAL ADMISSION)

All attendees with a valid ticket will receive a card with a unique code, redeemable at the main desk upon arrival. This code unlocks the Montreal Major bundle, a background card, and a drone skin.

The eight teams will compete in a double elimination bracket, with four teams advancing to Phase 2. All matches will be held over two days behind closed doors with each match following a best-of-three (BO3) format.
Phase 2: November 10th - 13th:

Phase 2 consists of a 16-team Swiss bracket that takes place over four days.12 teams qualify directly based on their regional standings, with four additional teams promoted from Phase 1 to complete the 16-team Swiss group. This stage features a combination of Bo1 and Bo3 format matches, with all qualification and elimination matches played in a Bo3 format. The eight remaining teams will advance to Phase 3.
Phase 3: November 15th - 17th
Phase 3 features the final three days of competition in front of traveling esports fans from Canada and beyond. The eight remaining teams play out a single elimination bracket with Bo3 matches in the Quarterfinals and Semifinals.
The event culminates on Sunday with a best-of-five (Bo5) Grand Final, where we will crown the champions.

Play Rainbow Six Siege on-site
Come and be amongst the first players in the world to experience the upcoming season of Rainbow Six Siege at the demo booth located in Arena 2. The booth will be open during the following times:
Friday November 15: 10:00AM EST
Saturday November 16: 12:00PM EST
Sunday November 17: 12:00PM EST
*The booth will close each day when the last map of the last match of the day begins.

Cosplay
We can't wait to see all the amazing cosplays you've been preparing for the BLAST R6 Major Montreal.
Costumes and Prop Guidelines:
Costumes and props must not pose any danger to yourself and others.
All items must follow the specific requirements outlined in the cosplay guidelines.
Costumes must not display any symbols or markings prohibited by local legislation.
All costumes are subject to inspection and approval by on-site security personnel.
Costumes must be kept covered or hidden during transportation to the venue.
Prop weapons must be easily identifiable as fake from a distance of 20 feet or 6 metres and should be made of soft and flexible materials.
Cosplayers should enter the venue through the main entrance, utilising the lane designated for cosplayers.
Please remove any face coverings during the security screening and upon entry into the venue. This includes gas masks, goggles, costume masks, etc. For the full set of cosplay rules, please refer to the guidelines available here.

Twitch Drops
Tune in to the official Twitch channels listed above to watch the Montreal Major and earn Twitch Drops!
To register your account, visit https://drops-register.ubi.com and link your Twitch account to your Ubisoft account.Follow the prompt to enable the drops feature. Please make sure that your account is linked before you tune in to the broadcast.
All drops must be claimed manually. You can track your Drops progression on the Inventory page at https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory. When you meet the Drops conditions, click the "Claim" button on the Inventory page to receive your reward and continue the progression toward the next reward. Please note that the "Claim" button will only be available 24 hours after the end of each campaign. There will be 10 distinct campaigns during the Major, corresponding to each Playday of the competition, from November 16 to 27. The delivery of claimed items will typically be done within 48 hours after the end of each campaign.
More information: Twitch Drops are activated for all five platforms where the game is available on: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. You do not need to own Rainbow Six Siege to earn Drops. If your Twitch account is linked to your Ubisoft account, and your Ubisoft account is linked to your console or PC accounts, you will receive the items upon logging in for the first time after installation.

Prize Pool & Global Standings Points
The total prize pool of the BLAST R6 Montreal Major is $750,000.
The prize pool is divided between Team Participation and Team Performance prizes..
As part of the Team Participation Prize, each qualifying team will receive $7,000 for their participation in Montreal.
The Team Performance Prize will be awarded based on final rankings at the conclusion of the event, as follows:
1st Place- $210,000
2nd Place - $85,000
3rd-4th Place: $44,000 each
5th-8th Place: - $23,000 each
9th - 11th Place - $14,500 each
12th -14th Place - $12,500 each
15th-16th Place - $10,000 each
17-20th Place- $8,500 each
In addition, all 20 competing teams will earn points in the Global Standings, which contribute to qualification for the Six Invitational 2025. Points will be awarded based on final placement as follows:
1st place: 350 points
2nd place: 260 points
3rd - 4th place: 200 points each
5th - 8th place: 170 points each
9th - 11th place: 105 points each
12th - 14th place: 65 points each
15th - 16th place: 55 points each
17th - 20th place: 45 points each
Security & Safety Measures
Please note that health and safety measures may be implemented leading up to the event, in accordance with the evolving situation and guidelines from local authorities.
Cosplay is encouraged; however, it will be subject to additional screening and restrictions.
All participants will undergo a security search upon entry.

Weapons of any kind;
Backpacks larger than 30cm X 30cm X 15cm (12" x 12" x 6");
Briefcases and/or luggage*;
Electronic devices larger than a cell phone (e.g. laptops, iPads, or other tablets);
Cameras with detachable lenses;
Video cameras (GoPros are allowed);
Selfie-sticks;
Flags on pole or oversized signs (no larger than 8 1/2" x 11");
Outside food/beverage;
Alcoholic beverages;
Smoking of any kind, including but not limited to tobacco, vapor, or e-cigarettes;
Illegal drugs;
Laser pointers;
Mace or pepper spray;
Spiked or studded jewelry;
Skateboards, roller skates, scooters, hoverboards and bicycles;
Drones;
Musical instruments;
Mega phones and speakers;
Animals, except for official service animals.
*Except for cosplays who will go through a dedicated lane and extended security screening.
Blast, Ubisoft, the venue, and security management reserve the right to prohibit any item from entering the premises, including items not specifically listed above, based on event safety requirements.

By entering the BLAST R6 Major Montreal premise, please acknowledge that you may be filmed by Ubisoft and/or Blast and/or their production agencies while they create content related to Rainbow Six Esports and the BLAST R6 Major Montreal.
Ubisoft, Blast, and their partnered production agencies may use your image and your voice during the live broadcast of this event, and afterward to produce videos that may be displayed on the internet and social media for commercial and marketing purposes. As a result, your image and voice may be visible to the public for as long as the videos remain available on the Internet and on social media.
