Ubisoft takes the well-being of all players very seriously and works to provide everyone with the safest gaming experience possible, whether they are interacting with others online or managing their own personal data.
Online Interactions
Particular attention is given to issues of toxicity in online communities. Harassment, racism, discrimination, threats or cheating has no place in any of our games or communities. All Ubisoft multiplayer games and forums are subject to our code of conduct that specify prohibited behaviors, security rules and possible sanctions.
A dedicated and professional team is in charge of constantly moderating our forums and the content created by players. Our Customer Relations Centers in Europe and North America also encourage players who witness inappropriate behavior to report it immediately so that appropriate action can be taken, ranging from a simple warning to a temporary or even permanent ban from a game.
Finally, Ubisoft builds features into games that allow players to, block, mute or remove players with inappropriate behavior from their friends list. We are constantly looking at new and innovative ways we can incorporate new features to help improve our players’ experience.
Personal Information
Ubisoft is fully committed to the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). By establishing this regulation and its requirements (access, rectification, deletion) as a standard applied as much as possible to all our markets, we see GDPR as an opportunity to strengthen the trust we’ve already established with players.
For these reasons, Ubisoft has been awarded the "Gouvernance" label by the French National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL).
