Week 6 of Pro League was decisive as we finally determined the eight teams who will compete in Atlantic City for the Pro League Finals.
Following their bright Six Invitational, Evil Geniuses and Rogue secured themselves a spot for the finals, defeating SK Gaming and Spacestation Gaming respectively. Both North American teams will compete to be crowned Pro League champions of their homeland. In Latin America, the first semi-final featured two of the most successful teams of the region, FaZe Clan and Black Dragons. The latter, finalist of the last Pro League Finals, will not be able to obtain the title, defeated by Astro and his team. In the second game, Team Liquid took down Team oNe eSports and booked their tickets for Atlantic City. Europe saw decisive games between French and German teams. Known for their spectacular playstyle, Vitality and 1UP Esports will not be in Atlantic City. PENTA Sports and Millenium advance to the Finals in order to keep the title in Europe. As the Asian-Pacific region (APAC) has a specific format of competition, the two spots were taken by Fnatic (formerly Mindfreak) and NORA-Rengou (Japan) through a LAN event in Sydney last weekend.
