Community Spotlight with EloW340!

Hey, dancers!

Here we are once again bringing you our latest community spotlight, a space where we put some of our most dedicated players on the map and show to the world the extraordinary things they accomplish.

Content creator, streamer, cosplayer, designer...today's protagonist has so many skills and creativity that it would be pretty hard for us to miss her! Let's give a big round of applause applause for EloW340!

EloW340, whose alias comes from a play on her real name, fell in love with Just Dance four years ago. Since then, she hasn't stopped dancing to its maps, recreating its outfits and, in more recent times, unleashing her imagination with new looks and choreographies. However, her relationship with the game started in a different way; when her former neighbor and now best friend visited her with a copy of Just Dance 2017, EloW340 tells us that...she didn't want to play!

"I didn't know the game at all at that time (...) I told him that I had never danced and that I didn't want to make a fool of myself! I tried it anyway and we had a lot of fun!"

What can we say? No one can resist.

Since then, Just Dance became not only a way for her to spend free time with her friends, but it also allowed her to connect our games with one of her dearest passions since she was a teenager- designing and creating clothes.

"I have fun creating styles and I really like fashion, especially styles that are a little colorful and atypical! That's why I fell in love when I saw the Just Dance Coaches costumes, it's completely in the same spirit!"

Being a skilled tailor already, EloW340 found in the Just Dance universe a door to what has become one of her main hobbies: cosplaying. Armed with a sewing machine and bountiful imagination, she's recreated a staggering 53 (53!!) cosplays from Just Dance. Her favorites? Blinding Lights and Ma Itu.

And check them out, they're stunning!

Of course, we had to ask her about the process. EloW340 tells us that, depending on the outfit, it can take anywhere from two weeks to two months to finish a cosplay. It generally starts by zooming in on the costume to gather as many details as possible and, after taking the measurements, she gathers the fabric and materials that look the closest to the original costume.

"Then I just have to go to the sewing machine to put everything together and with other materials. I do all the details like jewelry or belts for example. As for the shoes, I almost always customize them with acrylic paint!"

Got any ideas, dancers?

And beware - her dancing skills are as good as her craft! Her YouTube channel is excellent proof, where she delivers more extraordinary choreographies, produces her own 3D assets and nails every single routine and costume she focuses on. She has published more than 60 videos as of now and she keeps getting better every day. We're still caught up on her amazing version of Woman by Doja Cat!

We asked if she could be a coach in any map, who would she most like to be. She couldn't decide between Blackpink or Doja Cat, and, honestly, we can't blame her. However, when we asked about her favorite Just Dance map, she went for a classic:

"I think it would be "Last Friday Night" from JD 2022. I like the good humor and the shyness of the coach as well as the festive spirit of the map, the choreography and the reminder of the former coaches!"

When thinking about Just Dance and the community, it's pretty clear that competition is the last thing she thinks of.

"This is a game that is there to entertain us and to make us laugh above all. (...) So have fun first and don't judge yourself."

And she is absolutely right! There is no space for shame in Just Dance, and there are only two goals: feeling good and having fun.

It's a fact: we love EloW340, and we love how much passion, effort and attention she's put into everything we've seen. What we really appreciate about her is how she celebrates and encourages her followers to love themselves - such an important message can't never be stressed enough!

Don't miss out on the magic she makes next, make sure to follow her socials! You'll find her on Youtube, Instagram, Twitch and TikTok.
