Stage 2 update

Stage 2 update

19 July 2023

With the first stage of BLAST R6 complete all eyes are firmly on the upcoming Stage 2 - we are excited to announce that the second part of the season will begin on Friday, 1st September 2023.

After launching a brand-new format back in March with nine regions being introduced to the Rainbow Six Esports ecosystem, the format for Stage 2 will remain the same along with the pathway for teams to book their place for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta (October 30 to November 12) with 24 places up for grabs.

Here are the dates and key changes ahead of the second stage starting in September.

LEAGUE UPDATES

The MENA League will have the winning team from each stage qualify for the following stage automatically - meaning Team Falcons will be returning for Stage 2 automatically. The seven remaining teams will qualify through a double elimination bracket qualifier.

MAP POOL CHANGES

We will be introducing an updated map pool with two new maps being added to Stage 1's map pool. Villa and Themepark will be replaced by Nighthaven Labs and Consulate, meaning the entire map pool will consist of the following maps: Skyscraper, Kafe, Oregon, Bank, Clubhouse, Chalet, Border, Nighthaven Labs and Consulate.

Europe League: Monday, 4th September
