2024 Summer 3 Release Notes
Feature improvements / New features
Hub
-
Added multi-select filtering functionality to the Search Results screen. This will let you select multiple filters of the same type.
-
Added filtering and sorting options to the "My Saved Songs", "Recently Played", "Greatest Hits", and "New This Month" song queues.
-
Updated the "Search" tab in the Hub to include theme, and tuning filters, as well as some artist-based song queues.
-
Added a new dialogue to explain the perks of subscribing for players who are not subscribed.
Noteway
- Added a new camera option for Guitar / Bass that closely matches the Rocksmith 2014 camera. This camera is now set as default.
Onboarding Challenges
- Added direct linking functionality to some of our existing onboarding challenges. If you click / tap on challenges that support this, they should take you directly to the content we are asking you to play / watch.
Tones
- The tone manager menu that is on the Customize screen is now available when your instrument is set to Piano, so you can try all our tones.
- Added a low-latency FM synthesizer that is available in some piano tones.
- A new feature has been added called the "Pedal Board". This works similarly to Rocksmith 2014's "Tone Stick" where you can save 3 tones to it, and at a moment's notice you can change to those tones inside or outside of a song, overriding your current tone. These tones can be saved to the Pedal Board inside the Tone Manager menu in the Customize tab of the Hub.
