"I called you here today because we face dire circumstances. Our intelligence has confirmed the existence of a new threat that is unlike any that we've seen before."

The next phase of operations is just on the horizon and it’s time to prepare for action. After a successful and productive Closed Alpha on PC, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is returning on a much larger scale for the Closed Beta starting on September 24th. Not only will there be more content, but PS4 and Xbox One owners can join in too, with additional data centers added to cover more regions on all platforms.
The Closed Beta will be one of the last checkpoints before the game is launched on October 13th. This will be your opportunity to test out the changes we made based on Closed Alpha feedback for yourself, plus enjoy some features like the Party System that were not available last time. The Closed Beta is really meant to challenge our online infrastructure. From server stability to matchmaking times, we want to hit our systems from every angle on all platforms to help us find the weak spots and ensure a smooth experience for launch. Of course, feedback will be monitored and analyzed to kick off an ongoing balancing effort for the game.
Further intel will be released as we move closer to the date, but you can start the preparation phase by registering for the Closed Beta waitlist. If you don’t want to take any chances, pre-ordering the game on any platform will grant you guaranteed access. Players who participated in the Closed Alpha will automatically be granted Closed Beta access. For a complete list of official retailers, regions available, and more be sure to check out the FAQ.
