North American Team Presentation According to Parker “Interro” Mackay

Official ESL caster for Rainbow Six Parker “Interro” Mackay gave us his thoughts on the North American teams heading to the Paris Major! Here’s what he said to say:

Rogue
When naming off the most consistent teams in all of Rainbow 6 you would be hard pressed to find a list without Rogue. Expectations for Rogue are always high due to the success that their roster has seen over the last few seasons and this Major is no different. While many expect Rogue to perform well in Paris there are a few obstacles in their way. First is the group they were slotted into: Group D, often considered the group of death of the Paris Major. Competing against FaZe Clan, Team Secret, and OrgLess for a spot in the quarterfinals may prove to be one of Rogue's toughest challenges.

Evil Geniuses
Stakes are going to be high for Evil Geniuses this Major. After a string of disappointing results the past few seasons, including two consecutive second places finishes at the Six Invitational then Dreamhack Austin, Evil Geniuses may be the hungriest team competing in Paris. Defeat provides for great motivation though and Evil Geniuses have made some adjustments to their team by swapping off certain roles as well as designating BC as their new in-game leader. A slower start to the regular season was to be expected but Evil Geniuses will be given their biggest test yet at the Paris Major.

Obey Alliance
Despite falling down to the Lower Bracket earlier on in the Paris Major qualifiers, Obey Alliance went on a tear to claim the lone North American qualifier spot. Outside of Paris Major qualifiers, Obey Alliance have struggled to show their prowess in Pro League as they enter the Major in last place for North America. The good news is that the team has a handful of LAN-tested players and are fortunate to be placed in the one group where an upset seems the likeliest. Inconsistency will likely be a bigger nemesis than any of the opponents they meet in the group stages but Obey Alliance has shown in the past that they can compete with top tier teams when they need it the most. The Pressure's on.
