This time we talked to @Anjuser , a Cosplayer from Spain who has shown us his dedication to detail on several occasions with this interpretations of Blackbeard, Blitz and most recently Jackal.
Hello Anjuser and thank you to agreeing to this interview! Tell us! How and when did you start cosplaying?
Anjuser: : Good afternoon! Well, I’ve been interested in the whole costumes world since I was a little kid, but I almost never showed the cosplays to anyone. I did them just for myself at home, and I know it sounds a bit weird, but it was embarrassing for me to go somewhere wearing a costume haha. Anyway, my first cosplay was the Blackbeard one and with it my YouTube channel started to be known. It was something special I wanted to do for my subscribers, so they could see my face for the first time. I was used to see the same stuff on YouTube, so I told myself, why not make something new? And then I also said that because my channel is focused on Rainbow Six, why not make a cosplay of an operator? So I picked Blackbeard because I haven’t seen many people cosplaying him, and definitely not with the rifle shield. It had a huge impact because I tried to be creative and make a video of the operator. This is what made me want to continue cosplaying.
What is the best thing about cosplaying Rainbow Six: Siege operators?
Anjuser: The fact that I can create the clothes and the gadget of the operator is what encourages me to do it. I mean, the thing I like the most is being able to incarnate that operator for a moment. For instance, holding Blitz’s shield or the rifle shield that Blackbeard uses on his Scar. Trying to recreate their unique gadgets as accurate as possible is what I like the most. And well, this is what I like the most about the game as well, the fact that each operator has a unique gadget that goes along with other operator.

Do you have any other R6 cosplays on your mind?
Anjuser: I have many other cosplays in mind, hahaha. But most of them require a big investment. Trying to be as accurate as possible with the cosplay requires a lot of expenses in clothes, weapons, materials… I am in the process of making another one, and I will try to recreate every single gadget of the operators with accessories, such as Montagne’s shield, Ash’s grenade launcher or Thatcher’s EMP grenade. So I’ll try to make them all!
