Your Survival Guide to Rainbow Six at DreamHack Montreal

Rainbow Six returns to DreamHack this Friday, September 7th! This is your survival guide to all things #DHMTLR6: where to watch, when to watch, and who’s competing! This weekend, teams from around the world will compete for a collective prize pool of $50,000 and the chance to prove themselves against some of the best Rainbow Six teams in the world.

In addition to the usual DreamHack prizes, the champions of DreamHack Montreal will also secure a guaranteed spot at the Six Invitational 2019. The team who claims the title of DreamHack Montreal Champions will join G2 Esports as the second qualified team for the most prestigious competitive Rainbow Six event of 2019.

Who’s Competing?

There are BYOC teams and 12 closed tournament teams competing. The top four teams from the BYOC tournament (taking place on September 7th) will move into the closed tournament. Below is the bracket for the closed tournament.

To determine the seeding for the top four BYOC teams, a drawing will occur live on stream.

  • Seed 2: Noble esports
  • Seed 3: BootKamp Gaming
  • Seed 4: BYOC

Group 4

  • Seed 1: Rogue
  • Seed 2: Mousesports
  • Seed 3: Digital Chaos
  • Seed 4: BYOC

What’s the Schedule?

Please note that the tournament will be running on an accelerated schedule meaning that a match will start as soon as the one prior is completed. Due to the nature of the schedule, not all matches during the Group Stage will be streamed.

Friday, September 7th

  • 13:00-15:25: SK Gaming vs Spacestation Gaming
  • 15:50-18:15: Group Stage Round 1 - Match 2

Saturday, September 8th

  • 10:00-10:15: Stream Start & Pre-Show
  • 10:15-12:35: Group Stage Upper Bracket Match
  • 13:00-15:20: Group Stage Lower Bracket Match
  • 15:45-18:05: Group Stage Decider’s Match
  • 18:30-20:50: Quarter Finals

Sunday, September 9th

  • 13:00-15:20: Semi Finals 2
  • 15:45-18:05: Grand Finals
