If you’ve yet to join the battlefield in For Honor, now is the perfect time. Xbox Live Gold members can get the game for free from August 16 to September 15 as For Honor joins the Games with Gold lineup. With a roster of 18 versatile Heroes, and strategies that require a mastery of attacking, blocking, parrying, guard-breaking, feigning, and more, For Honor’s Art of Battle combat system offers up tense fights, in both competitive online play and story mode.
The inclusion in Games with Gold comes just days after the arrival of Storm and Fury, For Honor’s seventh season of new content and updates. The season includes a new map, Secluded Keep that will allow players to do battle on fresh ground in Tribute, Skirmish, Elimination, Brawl, and Dual matches. Additionally, two of For Honor’s original Heroes – Warden and Valkyrie – received major reworks to make them more versatile and viable for competitive play.
For Honor Season VII: Storm and Fury's updates are the latest in a series of improvements to For Honor, including the implementation of dedicated servers, a revamped training mode, and the Visual Collection feature. In October, For Honor will receive its largest update yet, when Marching Fire introduces four new Heroes from the new Wu Lin faction, a 4v4 Breach Mode, and a variety of other features. Download For Honor between August 16 and September 15, and you’ll be ready to try out the new Heroes and play the new Breach mode when Marching Fire launches.
