We are just weeks away from the launch of Watch Dogs: Legion on October 29, and we recently unveiled in our Year One trailer what to expect following launch. The post-launch content will include a bunch of free content such as the much-anticipated online multiplayer mode available on December 3rd, free for all owners of Watch Dogs: Legion, which we will be detailing in a dedicated post very soon.
Today, we want to give you a look at how to customize your operatives, the in-game store, and our Season Pass. Being able to express yourself is a big part of Watch Dogs: Legion and it was important to the team to give you plenty of ways to do so. Watch Dogs: Legion’s London will offer you dozens of boutiques and stores where you can buy clothing, including jackets, shirts, hats and more. Over 2000 clothing items will be available in these shops and you can obtain them with the earnable in-game currency called ETO.
Express yourself with ETO
ETO has taken over London and is the only payment method accepted in the city. Spend your ETO on a wide variety of cosmetic items, including Clothing, Weapon Skins, and Vehicle Paints There are many ways to earn ETO in the game. The first and easiest way is to play through the main storyline; the intro mission will already provide you with a small chunk to get started on your fashion collection.
In addition, you can earn ETO by completing Side Missions, through repeatable activities like Bare Knuckle Fights or Kick-Up, and by finding ETO skimmers or safes.
Albion is hunting what is left of the DedSec resistance. Use Masks to hide your identity and elude Albion’s detection. Masks can be found in hidden location all around London or can be earned by completing missions. Once you’ve scouted the location of a mask, it will appear on your minimap when you are in the area.
Once a cosmetic item has been collected it will be available for all your operatives. Stylish!
WD Credits and Premium Store Options
Watch Dogs: Legion will also feature an in-game premium store for optional cosmetics items, ETO packs, a collectibles map, and operatives purchases.
Cosmetic and operative purchases in the premium store are paid for by using WD Credits, which can be bought with real life money at an exchange rate of around 100 WD Credits for $1 Dollar, or your regional equivalent. Available WD Credits bundles offer discounts and will reduce the price per credit.
Purchased operatives feature unique personalities, outfits, masks and cosmetics to amp up your flair. Their gameplay abilities, traits, and weapons can be found on other Londoners around the city, and they do not offer any gameplay advantages compared with operatives recruited in the game.
Season Pass Content – Unique Cosmetics and DLC
The Season Pass in Watch Dogs: Legion is a one-time purchase, and is included in the Gold, Ultimate, and Collector’s Editions of the game.
The Season Pass includes Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline; the upcoming story expansion continuing the story of Aiden Pearce. We are also happy to announce that Wrench will be joining him. In addition, you can play the full main campaign with 4 Hero Characters, including Aiden, Wrench, as well as Mina, a subject of transhuman experiments possessing the power of mind control, and Darcy, a member of the Assassin Order. Season Pass owners also get 3 additional DedSec story missions, a Season Pass exclusive Car Skin, and a digital copy of Watch_Dogs: Complete Edition.
