To celebrate this milestone, Scurlock invites you to join him in celebrating The Founding.

Overview

Starting on February 18, pick up the dedicated contract from Blackwood to join in the festivities.
By participating in the Founding celebrations, you can earn heaps of silver, and a new ship cosmetic, the Illustrious Founding set, an irresistible new pet and a new firework.

But that's not all. For the occasion, Scurlock is issuing a special currency, the Silver Lions, minted specifically for the Founding celebration.

Exchange them for exclusive rewards in the celebration store at the store located below Scurlock's statue in Sainte-Anne:

• Epic and rare equipment and blueprints from Year 1, with some coming back for the first time. If you did not have a chance to obtain them yet, this is your chance!
• Select cosmetics that were available throughout year 1

You can exchange your Sovereign for Silver Lions, or to collect this new currency by completing the following activities:

• Recover the Exeter's cargo:
  Salvagers have robbed the Exeter of its cargo. They are now trying to get their loot out of the Indian Ocean to be sold to the highest bidder. Sink their convoy to obtain the Recovered Exeter Chests for a chance to obtain premium cosmetics and Silver Lions.
• Overcome World Events:
  During the celebration period, you'll be able to obtain Silver Lions by joining World Events and emerging victorious. All World Events, aside from convoys, will be eligible - from La Peste to Rode Maangodin.
• Complete weekly challenges:
  During the celebration, a new wave of challenges will be available to help you collect more Silver Lions.
