Our Phase 1 of technical testing is complete, and we are now ready to move forward with Phase 2 as we progress towards worldwide launch. Over the upcoming weeks, new game content will be added to the current season, Ice Storm. Here's an overview of what's new with this latest update and what is soon coming to the game!
WEEK 1 - EXCLUSIVE TO MOBILE: NEW MAP SUMMIT
Introducing Summit, a new map, never-before-seen nor played which has been designed exclusively for Rainbow Six Mobile.
Nothing cozy about this winter getaway. This failed mountain resort was purchased by a mysterious buyer and converted into a military staging ground. Its central purpose is unknown, but it is likely not the best place for corporate retreats.
WEEK 1 - LIMITED-TIME MODE: SUMMIT SHOWCASE
Available in a couple of days and for a limited time, the Summit Showcase playlist will let you enjoy the map in all its glory with our classic Bomb mode. After a few weeks, the map will be added to the map pool for all game modes - including Ranked - along with the already released maps Bank, Border, Clubhouse and Oregon. It will also become available in Private Match and Practice Mode.
Limited-time Rewards: Summit Showcase Event
To celebrate the new map's release, a Summit Showcase Event will grant players exclusive rewards that they can claim after completing challenges in the Summit Showcase playlist.
STARTING WEEK 1 - NEW RANKED CHALLENGES
New Ranked Challenges are coming, with a new set of challenges added every 2 weeks. Much like the Battle Pass weekly challenges, the Ranked Challenges will stack and remain available until the end of the season.
As they complete all the challenges, players will unlock an exclusive Operator skin for Jäger. Additionally, if a player manages to climb up the ranks all the way to the top, they will also unlock Jäger's Ranked primary weapon skin.
WEEK 4 - LIMITED-TIME MODE: MOST WANTED IS BACK
In this variation of Team Deathmatch, the player with the highest killstreak on each team will be marked as Most Wanted and revealed for all to see. Most Wanted players earn bonus points for staying alive but must deal with having a large target on their backs. Make sure to take out the enemy team's top player and protect your most wanted teammate to secure the win!
Limited-time Rewards: Most Wanted Event
As you play Most Wanted and complete specific challenges, you will be able to unlock a variety of rewards, including some exclusive cosmetics for Thermite.
WEEK 6 - NEW OPERATOR: FROST
Frost is joining Rainbow Six Mobile as a new Operator to boost the Defender roster. Her unique gadget is the Welcome Mat - a floor trap that will instantly put enemy Operators in a DBNO state where they can attempt to self-revive to set themselves free. Her primary weapon is the 9mm C1 Submachine Gun and her secondary is the ITA12S Shotgun, making her effective in both long-range and close-range combat. She is also equipped with a Deployable Shield.
Upon her release, Frost will instantly be available for purchase with Renown or Platinum.
WEEK 6 - NEW LIMITED-TIME MODE: COLD CLASH
What's better than 1 Buck in Attack vs 1 Frost in Defense? 5 Bucks vs 5 Frosts!
Get acquainted with Frost and Buck in the unique Cold Clash game mode! Respawns are on in this special variation of Secure Area, where the team with the fastest objective capture time wins. No matter which Canadian comes out on top, one thing is certain: someone... will be sorry.
If you have not unlocked these Operators yet, this mode will give you an opportunity to try them out and get more familiar with their loadout and special gadget.
Limited-time Rewards: Cold Clash Event
Along with the Cold Clash Mode, there will be a Cold Clash Event which can be found in the Mission Hub. Completing its challenges will grant you exclusive rewards such as the Arctic Assault weapon skin for Valkyrie.
STARTING WEEK 2 - NEW COMIC CHAPTERS
Thatcher and Thermite are investigating suspicious activity in the remote Arctic wilderness when they are met with hostility.

ALL SEASON LONG - NEW COSMETICS IN THE SHOP
It would not be a winter season without Black Ice! The iconic Rainbow Six weapon skin will soon be in the shop and will be obtainable through cosmetic packs for the entirety of the season.
