Community Reporter Contest Winners and Honorable Mentions

Hello dear warriors! The Community Reporter Contest is now over… After watching hours of videos and compiling thousands of votes, it’s now time to reveal the winners for E3 and Gamescom! But first, we want to thank you a lot for your participation, for your enthusiasm, your talent and your creativity. The whole For Honor team was really impressed by your entries, and it was really hard to make the final selection. Let’s not waste any more time, here are the winners for each event, and not to forget, some honorable mentions to some of our favorite videos.

The final winners were chosen by a panel of judges from the For Honor team: Gaelec Simard (Associate Game Director), Nicola Godin (Game Designer), Bio-Jade Adam-Granger (Game Designer), Alex Laliberté-Messier (Dev Tester), Luc Duchaine (Brand Director), Emile Gauthier and Eric Pope (Community Developers).

E3 Winners

**Robin Gosh (Canada) **

Robin was one of our favorite participants: great on camera, good sense of humor and great video production skills. He demonstrated his passion for the game and a good knowledge of Ubisoft games. We have no doubt he will be a great reporter and will add a lot of value to our E3 content. We can’t wait to watch Robin’s videos!

**Zack and Brandon (USA) **

Their video was a big surprise and they were among the team’s favorites. They made us laugh a lot while always maintaining a good tone and showing a great production quality. They knew what they were talking about and put a lot of effort into their video entry. We liked their dynamic and interactions (and the beards too…)

Gamescom winners

**Samuel Steele (UK) **

We liked pretty much everything about Samuel’s entry. The shooting in the forest, the video quality, his voice and presence on screen and his ability to synthesize information. We also learned while looking at his Youtube channel that he’s very dedicated video game vlogger. The questions he asked were very relevant and in only 2min18, he gave us all the reasons to choose him for Gamescom.

**Lisa Habraken (The Netherlands) **

Lisa is a future gaming Youtube star, we have no doubt about it. She’s very good on camera, smiling and very passionate. She expresses herself very well, she’s a Twitch streamer and a big gamer, we believe she will add a great personal voice to our community. See you at Gamescom, Lisa!

Honorable mentions:

The Icebreaker Award: **Louis Blanco (USA) **

Louis was the very first contestant to send us his video, in the short few hours that followed the announcement. Great speaker, great vlog style video, he’s the one everybody was waiting for while constantly refreshing the contest page.

Best Fight Choreography : **Jose Daniel Alfaro Pagaza (Mexico) **

When we saw Jose Daniel’s video, first, we were scared the Mexican police would come after us for encouraging sword fighting in public parks. We then discovered Jose Daniel’s great communication (and stunt) talents! Kudos for the sound effects as well!

The Rockstar: **JKB (Canada) **

On top of the most popular participants, established YouTube star JKB has a dedicated throne! He succeeded at bringing a lot of voters to his entry and did a very successful campaign on social media to passionately promote his video! Thanks for your dedication Jason, I’m sure we’ll cross paths at a future event.

Best Cosplay: **Morguhn Baxley (USA) **

Morguhn’s amazing Warden Cosplay impressed all of us. Not only was it very faithful to our character, it was also the very first time we got to see our costumes in action in a video! Thanks for this great video Morguhn, we’ll definitely stay in touch for future events!

Best Editing: **Flavio Ricardo (Brazil) **

The opening scene of Flavio’s video was just amazing: beautiful colors, a wide variety of shots, nice outdoor setting. We almost felt we were in a Kurosawa movie. Very good job!

Best Medieval Setup: **Kegan Twyman (USA) **

Pretty early in the process, Kegan pushed the bar pretty high in terms of fights and setting, doing his video inside some ruins, fighting enemies and throwing them out of the window, using our Warden’s signature move. Kegan is a very passionate guy and we can feel it through his video.

Cutest Couple: **Krystal and Adam Fields (USA) **

At first we didn’t know these two entries were linked, but when we saw “Queen Krystal” appearing in Adam’s video , we knew there was something going on between them: united by the warrior’s oath! Will they form a team when the game comes out? We hope so!

Most Hilarious Video: **Corey Lerro (USA) **

We were not sure about giving Corey the “Best Offer of Service” or the “Most Hilarious” mention, because we were laughing constantly while watching the video, and at the same time, we really wanted to do business with him, as he looks so professional. Kudos for the good sound effects and graphic design!

Best Voice: **Tom Hardman (UK) **

Tom Hardman’s video was great with a lot of attention put to details: the to-do list in the back and the rubber duck on the side. We really appreciated that. But what stood out the most was his calm and suave voice. We could listen to Tom reading his shopping list for hours!

Most Passionate: **Jeremy Kielbasa (USA) **

Of course, you were all passionate, we could feel it in your videos, but Jeremy’s passion for our game and medieval combat was outstanding. It has even earned him a thread on Reddit . Also, it’s hard to beat an “airborne water melon smash” with a polo stick.

Best Ubisoft Ambassador: **Gemar Johnston (USA) **

Even if Gemar didn’t make it to the Top 10, he did a great job with his video but also with everything around it. He created a Facebook page for his Reporter campaign, promoted our video with The Blend and was very active on social networks, always with a great attitude. We hope to see you soon at an event near you, Gemar!

Again, this was an amazing contest, we are impressed by all your entries and the people that engaged in the event. We can’t thank you enough for taking the time to create these entries and putting yourselves out there in such a big way. We can’t wait to see the winners’ videos at E3 and Gamescom, and for the others, let’s stay in touch for future events!
