Competitive Spirit: Highlights from the Competitive Scene
Every week, brave warriors come together in clashes of strength and wits, fighting for the glory of being the best. Our community is home to some fantastic tournaments, and we wanted to really showcase the action and insane moments that occur during them! So without further ado, here's the first edition of our Tournament Highlights series, "Competitive Spirit", bringing the intense madness of the competitive For Honor scene to you in bitesize chunks.
Mayhem for the Masses!
Over the weekend, Mistressed and Infinium hosted an epic 2v2 tournament, Mistressed's Mayhem.. Casted by the silky toned Verbalosity and VividNaz, the tournament was packed full of action from start to finish, with a whole host of top tier players clashing to grab the glory of first place. After powering through a fierce bracket, and an extremely close final game, Skorbrand and Alernakin (with the immensely confusing team name "Clutch and Setmyx") brought home the victory against the actual Clutchmeister and Setmyx.
Across the tournament, there were some spicy, spicy plays and memorable moments. Here's a couple of our select favourites:
During the finals against Clutch and Setmyx, Skorbrand pulled off this incredible display of pure reaction time and instincts that would make the Saiyans themselves proud!
Up against Alernakin's famed Nobushi and living on a magic pixel, Devoured- held strong with this exquisite Conqueror parry play to secure the round. RAH!

FOR GLORY! 4v4 DOMINION #8: For Glory's 4v4 Dominion series makes a triumphant return to the scene this weekend, starting at 12pm PDT on May 5th! DEFEND THE NORTH: New York's premier fighting games tournament returns on July 20th-22nd, featuring a $1000 For Honor 1v1 Duel tournament that's bound to be full of vicious competition! Signups are open now, so sharpen those skills and get involved, big apple!
