LEVEL 3 BOTS

  • Reduced the success rate of Defensive moves like Block or Parry for Rank 3 bots.

***Developer Comment:***One of the main topic that impacts the difficulty of Arcade mode in higher difficulties is the Bot Level 3. The team is working on improving their global behavior. The first step delivered here is focused on reducing their defense success rate.

MATCHMAKING

  • When you are the last player or the last group in any non-duel PVP session, the match continues with bots replacing players who’ve left and leave penalties are deactivated. When you are the last player in any duel PVP or any ranked session, you will win the game automatically.
  • The matchmaking system now sorts the tickets by age. If two players have the exact same matchmaking parameter values, the one who has been waiting the longest in matchmaking will be matched first.

FIGHTERS

Shaman

  • [Improvement] The Shaman's “Hunter's Mercy” will now be immediately interrupted by any ally or opponent hitting either the Shaman or her target.

Developer Comment: At high level, being hit by Shaman's Hunter's Mercy was a death sentence, with the opposing team being able to land several high damaging attacks on the Shaman's target before they could block or activate Revenge*.*

We want to lower the potential maximum damage of a successfully coordinated Hunter's Mercy setup and allow the target a chance to survive while still rewarding coordination between the Shaman and her teammates.

  • [Improvement] The special reaction animation that plays when attacks like “Hunter’s Mercy” are cancelled they no longer grant 75% Damage Reduction on the following attack from the same target.

Developer Comment: This damage reduction only applied to hits that landed during the special reaction animation – not the initial hit that caused the special reaction animation to play. So, in the Shaman’s case, if you are bitten during Predator’s Mercy, then hit by 2 external opponents – because of the general external attacker rules for hitting during hit reactions, the 2nd external attacker will still be affected by a Damage Reduction.

Tiandi

  • [Improvement] Tiandi now has 500ms of Invulnerability Frames (was 300ms) on his Side Dodge Heavy Attacks.

Jiang Jun

  • [Improvement] Jiang Jun now has 500ms of Invulnerability Frames (was 400ms) on his Side Dodge Heavy Attacks.
  • [Improvement] Jiang Jun's Zone Attack range and trajectory have been modified to hit opponents standing behind him more consistently.

BREACH

General

  • [Improvement] Improved the Archers zones coverage so they are more relevant during a longer part of Phase 1 and 2.
  • [Improvement] Improved the Archers to be more relevant during the Commander fight. They can now defend or attack him when he is out of initial position.

PC

  • [Improvement] Changed the Graphics Card selection method to ensure the selection of the higher-end graphics card on each game launch. This should fix the issue where the game would randomly select the internal (less powerful) graphics card for some players.

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an exploit that allowed the player to unlock during a backward strafing attack and reach his opponent from the maximum attack range, sometimes causing attacks that can’t be parried.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused Retaliatory attacks like Parry Punishes and Deflect Attacks to target the last opponent you’ve hit, rather than an opponent who was about to attack you. This affects the following moves:
    • Aramusha’s “Twin Vipers”
    • Berserker’s “Deflect Punishes”
    • Gladiator’s “Deflect Punishes”
    • Jiang Jun’s “Dou Shi’s Choke”

Warden

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Warden’s “Top Light Attack” to not have its Superior Block visual effect properly synched (100ms after the beginning of the strike and lasting for 200ms).

Lawbringer

  • [Adjustment] Added a new light attack animation transition after the “Shove”.
  • [Adjustment] Animations have been polished for the Zone Attack and some Chains.

Valkyrie

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Valkyrie’s “Superior Block Light Attack” to cost 6 extra stamina.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Valkyrie’s “Light Attack Openers” to not have its Superior Block visual effect properly synched (100ms after the beginning of the strike and lasting for 200ms).

Shugoki

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Shugoki to have extra stamina costs when releasing a Charged Heavy Attack.

Shinobi

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that allowed the Shinobi kick an opponent affected by Jiang Jun’s “Dou Shi’s Choke”.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that prevented the Shinobi's “Teleport Kick” and “Teleport Light Attack” to hit after deflecting Jiang Jun's Sprint attack.

Gladiator

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that prevented the Gladiator's “Skewer Throw” to ledge the victim while the attack is being played, rather than just at the end of the animation.

Aramusha

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Aramusha to be unable to attack during his Back Dodge Recovery.

Tiandi

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused a 300ms delay before you could change your stance at the end of the Tiandi’s Back Dodge.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Out of Lock Chained Light Attack of the Tiandi to be guaranteed after a hit.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that allowed Tiandi’s “Palm Strike” and certain Attacks to go through railings.

Shaolin

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that allowed the Shaolin to skip the charge up time of entering Qi stance by feinting an Unblockable Top Heavy.

Nuxia

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an animation issue that caused the Nuxia’s attacks to not always connect with the opponent on heavy and chains attacks.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the target to rotate incorrectly when hit by “Glass Waltz” from the Top as an external attacker.

Jiang Jun

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that prevented Jiang Jun's Side Heavy Attacks to be superior blocked.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that prevented Jiang's Left Heavy Finisher to hit consistently on external attackers.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Jiang Jun's “Dou Shi's Choke” to not get interrupted if the target is hit or bumped.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Jiang Jun's Out of Stamina Heavy Openers to not have the correct parry window. It is now set to 400ms (was 200ms).
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Jiang Jun’s “Mighty Backlash” to hit the opponent 100ms sooner than expected.

Conqueror

  • [Bug Fix] Performing a Charged Heavy Attack instead of a Heavy Attack no longer makes the “Wrong Input” or “Too Late” message appear on certain moves.

  • [Improvement] Some of Shugoki's advanced tactics now give better feedback on what went wrong if the move fails.

Orochi

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed a bug that caused the “Wrong Input” message to appear if the opponent was killed by a Heavy Attack while the player was performing the Finisher Recovery Dodging Mix Up move.

BREACH

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that allowed the Commander to snap on the player when dodging his unblockable Top Heavy attack early.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an animation issue with the Commander area of effect attack.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Cauldron to not damage the Attacker’s Pikemens.

Kazan Castle

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that allowed the player to fall out of world in a specific area.

BOTS

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that made Bots wait longer than expected for a Revive. They will no longer wait as long to respawn when nobody is nearby to revive them.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that allowed Bots to revive allies that were not in range.

USER INTERFACE

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the inventory count to not update when dismantling a Gear item in the after match screen
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that allowed the swapping of Hero models in the Customization Screens.
  • [Bug Fix] You can scroll through each individual entry of the leaderboard, on all platforms. On console, you can access a player's First Party Gamecard directly from the leaderboard.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed a case where the End of Match screens could be entirely skipped, leading you directly in the next game's character selection without you saying you're ready.
  • [Bug Fix] Fixed a case where you could stay stuck in Tactical View for the whole game after a disconnection during faceoff.
