This Month in Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey – July 2019 Update

This month we'll discuss The Fate of Atlantis – Episode 3, a new Lost Tale of Greece, and two item packs!

Without further ado, let's jump right in.

The Fate of Atlantis

Episode 3 – Judgment of Atlantis

The final episode of The Fate of Atlantis DLC sends players to Poseidon's domain, the legendary lost world, a complete mystery to every culture. We discover that it is a mythical world where Isu and humans live and work together in the utopia created by The Ones Who Came Before. A gorgeous landscape of architectural progress and clear water, Atlantis is a playground for Isu knowledge and power.

The Fate of Atlantis: Judgment of Atlantis releases on July 16.

Below you'll find some tips from the developers that will help you get started.

  • If you're looking for Ability Points to try a new enhancement, scanning Isu Caches rewards an Ability point

  • Collect all Steles to unlock the three new Ability Enhancements early. You have a new tool to learn and use against enemies

    • Wrath of Ares can be used to deal with multiple enemies at the same time by creating an anomaly zone that will slow them down and explode after a few seconds
    • Blessing of Kronos is perfect to gain Adrenalin quickly and avoid being stopped by Isu Powers
    • Kronos's Punishment allows you to assassinate enemies close by without exposing yourself
  • A new type of Kolossus armed with two swords can be activated when you've been detected. Be careful to avoid conflict around them

  • When you're attacking forts, try to take down the Isu Commander first – he's quite a challenge and can be damaging even at range

  • Hunt the five Atlantean Polemarchs to acquire all the pieces of the Legendary Dikastes armor

Title Update 1.4.0

Title Update 1.4.0 was deployed on July 9 and, along with addressing some in-game obstacles, the patch prepared the game for the release of the latest DLC episode: Judgment of Atlantis, and added some improvements to our Story Creator mode.

Highlights of the patch include:

  • In-game support for Judgment of Atlantis
  • In-game support for upcoming Lost Tales of Greece
  • Story Creator mode improvements, such as an autosave when completing a story
  • General bug fixes

Helios Character Pack

Become a shining beacon of hope for those lost in darkness with this brand-new item pack!

The Helios Character Pack includes a gear set, a mount, and a bow, and has been available since July 9.

Lawgiver Character Pack

The greatest heroes always return to save their homelands in times of war.

This all-new item pack was inspired by the legendary Spartan lawgiver Lykourgos, who is said to have reformed Spartan society in accordance with the Oracle of Delphi's guidance.

The Lawgiver Character Pack includes a gear set, a mount, and an axe, and is available starting July 30.

Get your hands on both Character Packs via the in-game store or at the Oikos of the Olympians.

Alongside the Lawgiver Character Pack, we'll also be adding to the in-game store the legendary Spartan lawgiver himself, Lykourgos, as a brand-new Lieutenant!

Available on July 30.
